This policy explains what information the Android game Signal Tower (package
ee.mametec.signaltower) handles. The game is published by MAMETEC OÜ
(registry code 12832496, Põllu 15, Põlva 63307, Estonia), which is the data controller.
Your game progress and settings are saved locally on your device. If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may include this data in your personal Google backup so it can be restored when you reinstall the game. We (MAMETEC OÜ) do not receive or store your game progress on our own servers.
The game signs you in to Google Play Games automatically if you use it on your device (you can also sign in from the game's settings). When you are signed in, Google Play Games stores a copy of your game progress in your Google account (Saved Games) so you can continue on another device, records the achievements you unlock, and submits your scores to three leaderboards: the game time it took you to complete the Interplanetary Network, the number of achievements you hold, and the total in-game money you have earned. Your Play Games profile name and avatar may be visible to other players on the leaderboards, according to your Play Games profile settings. This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; MAMETEC OÜ does not receive your Google account details. You can play without Play Games, and you can delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings.
The game offers optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch an ad for an in-game reward). Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, and ad interaction data. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Optional one-time purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive your payment card or billing details. The game receives only a purchase confirmation (order token and product ID) so it can unlock the item you bought. Google's handling of payment data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The game does not include its own analytics or crash-reporting SDK. If you have opted in to share usage and diagnostics with Google on your device, Google Play may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash and performance statistics.
This website has a feedback form. Everything except the message itself is optional. When you send it, the topic, your message, and the name, e-mail address, game version and phone model you choose to enter, together with your IP address and the time of sending, are forwarded by e-mail to signaltower@mametec.ee. We use this only to read and answer your feedback and to block spam. It is not used for marketing or shared with anyone. Messages are kept in our mailbox only as long as needed to handle them. The same applies if you e-mail us directly. The game app itself does not send any of this information.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not sell personal data. Data processed by Google (AdMob, Google Play, Google Play Games) is handled under Google's own policies and retention periods. Locally stored game data stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Apart from feedback messages you send us, we do not hold personal data about players ourselves, so most requests are best handled directly through your device settings or Google (Google Account – Data & privacy). You can always contact us with questions, and you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
If the game starts handling data in a new way, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
